That is a good industry practice. What I meant to indicate is that a 25-year-old single man, a 41-year-old married man with 3 children, and a 64-year-old man who is financially ready to retire and whose children all Bart Barberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14021102240441576393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5643342666676162215.post-58157686514184947012012-10-14T07:50:54.326-05:002012-10-14T07:50:54.326-05:00Bart, you're right in your approach. It only makes sense for the employer to buy and provide the coverage. And it's seldom that an individual family can buy it as well as the employer can, where you have Bob Clevelandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06110395869562328309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5643342666676162215.post-70192203162836551962012-10-14T07:43:25.726-05:002012-10-14T07:43:25.726-05:00[Better to] "to have a church building burn d...[Better to] "to have a church building burn down without property insurance than to have a pastor's child get leukemia without health insurance."

Wow.

Thanks for this perspective.

If a pastor is full-time, I agree he should get health insurance (although I'm OK with giving the funds to secure it where he would).
