In honor of Ben Cole, who is both smarter than I and better at combat strategy.
If only he had a hammer...
Bart,This is your best post ever! And it appears that you are learning the fine art of mockery well. Bravo!
Paul,Not mockery, just lighthearted fun.
All Hail Major General Cole!
Bart:Excellent post. You really hit the nail on the head this time. Amen, Brother. Perhaps your best post ever. Thanks, and God bless!!!In Christ, BSC

I was marvelling at the creative genius of the Veggie Tales until I watched this video. At least in my cultural ignorance I still can sing along with Fiddler on the Roof.Ben, when are you going to approve my comment?
Colin:I'm not. I've decided to add your name to the list of three others who do not receive permission to post comments on my blog. Why, you ask?For no other reason than my whim.BSC
Well done BART! I recognised some of the ladies in the choir as some of the choir gals on the blogs~! *sighAnd the eloquent fictions! Well done... the poor orphan boy has gotta pushing 70 and by then all of us are orphans!Sometimes we can't see the wood for the trees at some posts.Steve
Colin,I hate to admit it, but the VeggieTales version was my inspiration—Jim was watching it early this morning. But of course, I preferred the Pirates of Penzance version for this particular use.Too bad on your situation with Ben. I guess it is the BaptistBlogger version of the Rush Limbaugh caller abortion.
Grosey,Be careful advancing any allegories; you'll have me as a pirate soon!AARRRRR!
Bart: in my biased opinion, you've had far better posts than this one. maybe I just lack a sense of humor. :) I'm still reveling in Dr. Yarnell's Lily acrostic. selahVColin: personally, I think you shall be a force to be reckoned with some fine day. What did you say on Ben's post that he won't post? selahV
Maybe, like John Grisham, I just am running out of stuff????Stay tuned a few days and see...
That comment was for SelahV. Sorry!
Alas, I seem to have made Ben's list alongside Colin. Although he does allow my wife to comment, if only so he can suggest that she lacks the capacity to think for herself...
Bart: running out of stuff? surely you jest. when all else fails tell us about Smyrna. selahV
Steve,Choir gals ... now that's funny. So, who else is on Ben's list? What does it take to get cut? :)
Bro. Wes: I went to the link you provided. all the more reason for me not to visit such sites. Debra might be wise to heed advice and stay in a place which grants her the respect any female deserves for having a mind and voice of her own. However, I applaud her gracious comment in the waters of the deep. Hello, Debra. I'm selahV
I think my comment hit a little to close to home, eh Ben?I suppose you will think twice before calling your informants to ask about me?Selah, I'll post it somewhere- don't want to hijack Bart's fine thread. Since it is relevant to Ben, CB and Debbie, I will email it to CB and Debbie first.
Bart: Archibald on VT is good people.I guess that, however, shows the difference between a PhD and myself- I would have searched in vain for the Veggie version for my blog!
i'm not positive, but i think i'm on ben's list. he wont let me post a comment either. boooo hoooo! it really hurts me deeply as you can tell. :(david....volfan007
Wait a minute. Who are the "choir gals on the blogs~ *sigh"? I need to know that before I decide if this is a place which grants me the respect any female deserves for having a mind and voice of her own.
well cate, having a mnd of your own would mean you are not part of the choir :)Nice to meet you CateSteve
Well, I was going to stay out of this one, but Grosey pushed me into it ...I have found that having a mind of one's own is entirely overrated. No matter how much I think for myself, it still seems as if people would rather whine about where they can't comment instead of stop by to read my words of brilliance and comment thereon. :)Beside, I like singing in the choir. You get to see the people in the pews from a whole 'nother angle. Maybe I've been singing in the wrong choir though to get maximum blog traffic? Perhaps I'll go write a post about Bart and see if I can get more business ...Off to it ...
dorcas: when I clicked on your name, nothing came up???? I've lost your site url. I use to comment a long time ago. I liked your funny whimsical stuff like the time you were speeding to get to the beach to see a sunrise. and the time you didn't think it quite fair that you had to go in to work on a day calling for ice in Dallas. and the one about your name. Haven't been to see you in a long time. Wanna share your url? I'll come comment if I can think of anything to say that would edify, encourage or comfort. selahV
SelahV -Weird - the URL should show. It is attorneynotes.wordpress.comStop on by. I'm not really going to do a post about Bart though ... I don't even know him except for hearing him speak at the conference last month.Dorcas
Well, I guess I should say not a post entirely on Bart ... I did find this great picture though, very realistic ... ;)
Dorcas: wasn't thinking you really meant you'd do a post on Bart anyway. did think you might have something witty to chuckle over though. selahV
Colin,If you are one of three, I am two of three. I wonder who three of three is who cannot omment on the General's blog?Grace. With that, I am...Peter
Dorcas,A tragic injustice we shall be required to remedy soon.
