Now don't talk too loud or folks like Condi won't come and speak at our fancy annual conventions. Those who preach a false gospel have outdone us in fighting for the most natural of human rights...life.

This serves to underscore just how short-sighted people are; including (and, probably, particularly) politicians, in their assessment of the future effects of the laws they pass, and what they permit.
