Our Personal Web Site

The Winter 2009 edition of the Southwestern News was dedicated entirely to adoption. Toward the back of the issue you may have noticed the article "As Miraculous as Childbirth" telling the story of how God placed our children into our family.

The major source of the written article was the material published on our personal web site. I can't recall whether I've ever mentioned it here before. It provides some information about us, some information about adoption in general, and several movies and photo albums. You'll find us at www.BartAndTracy.com.

Enjoy, and God bless!

A very nice site. I did not know anything about your family. Thanks for sharing this.

  2. Louis,

Thanks for visiting. Be sure not to miss the "Cowboy Gene Brady" video. That's my grandfather-in-law who ran himself over with a full-sized John Deere two years ago. It managed to cut off his ear and give him crush injuries from head to toe, including a number of broken ribs. He was a little disgusted with himself that, after sustaining those injuries at the age of 91, he had to stop three times to rest while walking the half-mile out of his Ozark farm to a neighbor's house to call for help.

The video was from this Fall, so it shows him in his recovered state. He's truly amazing!

  3. Bart,

I greatly appreciate you sharing this. My wife and I are somewhere in the long process of adopting a boy we took in as an emergency foster child. It is a journey that is so unique and different that I do not think one can grasp it until you have walked it.

    Blessings,

    Ron P.

  4. Bart,

Dr. Russ Moore will be speaking at FBC Keller in August on the theological implications of adoption based on his research while in the adoption process with his own children. Hope you can make it.
